Em 341 imagens NDVI e EVI de janeiro de 2002 a outubro de 2016 as
classes de uso e cobertura da terra floresta, agricultura e campo
foram amostradas. Ao todo foram obtidos 42 pontos, 15 de floresta,
15 de agricultura e 12 de campo, com base no Google Earth. As
assinaturas temporais foram extra{\'{\i}}das por meio da
ferramenta Web SATVeg - Sistema de An{\'a}lise Temporal da
Vegeta{\c{c}}{\~a}o - desenvolvida pela Embrapa Inform{\'a}tica
Agropecu{\'a}ria. Os resultados apontaram os valores
m{\'{\i}}nimos e m{\'a}ximos dos {\'{\i}}ndices para as
classes de interesse, que foram posteriormente aplicados como
limiares para identifica{\c{c}}{\~a}o de {\'a}reas de
mudan{\c{c}}a ou {\'a}reas com indicativos de desmatamento. A
metodologia mostrou-se eficaz para os objetivos propostos.
ABSTRACT: The objective of this work was the use of time series of
vegetation indices (NDVI and EVI) of the MODIS sensor to detect
deforestation thresholds in the Atlantic Forest biome in Rio
Grande do Sul. In 341 NDVI and EVI images from January 2002 to
October 2016 the land cover and use classes, agriculture and field
were sampled. In all, 42 points were obtained, 15 of forest, 15 of
agriculture and 12 of field, based on Google Earth. The temporal
signatures were extracted through the Web tool SATVeg Vegetation
Temporal Analysis System - developed by Embrapa Agricultural
Informatics. The results indicated the minimum and maximum values
of the indices for the interest classes, which were later applied
as thresholds to identify areas of change or areas with
deforestation indicative. The methodology proved effective for the
proposed objectives.",
